Harp’s: I absolutely love this store! The deli and bakery section are fabulous. Their fried chicken is tastier than KFC’s or Popeye’s. They have interesting produce, a well-stocked variety of meat, and usually have sodas on sale. Plus, the workers are super friendly and helpful. What’s not to love?
Wal-Mart Supercenter: The things I love about Harp’s are sorely lacking at Wal-Mart, but I like this store because they sell everything. Literally EVERYTHING. However, most people become zombies with shopping carts once they darken the doors, so it’s usually not a pleasant shopping experience. Hmm . . . exactly why am I including this store on my list?
Aldi’s: This store takes the award for having the BEST canned goods, junk food, coffee and dairy products. Since they stock their own brand, prices are more reasonable than other stores. I’ve been shopping here since they opened, and I plan to always include it in my shopping experience.
JC Penney: I am a Penney’s girl; almost every item of clothing I own came from this store. And I have the credit card balance to prove it.
Victoria’s Secret: The best scents and the best unmentionables. I do not approve of the unnatural way they portray the female body, but the quality of their products allows me to overlook it.
Payless Shoes: Like Penney’s, nearly all my shoes come from Payless. They are one of the few, reasonably priced stores that can accommodate my Cinderella shoe size (I have child-sized feet).
Hobby Lobby: This store is a crafter’s paradise. And it smells heavenly.
Dollar Tree: Like Hobby Lobby, this is a crafter’s paradise. And a teacher’s paradise. And a hostess’ paradise . . . it’s simply a paradise where everything costs a buck. But . . . it DOES NOT smell heavenly!
Amazon: This counts as a store, right? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Amazon! They sell literally anything on that site. And, they have Kindle e-books. It’s become an addiction: I’ve had to put myself on a monthly e-book budget.
Hot Topic: I really like this store. I like the t-shirts, the Funko Pop Vinyl Dolls, and especially the princess merchandise. The music is a little loud, it smells funky, and most of the other customers are WAY younger than me, but . . . oh, well. Guilty pleasure.
