The Concept: For each day during the month of November, journal about something for which you are grateful. By the end of the month, you should have thirty entries on which to reflect.
Creating the Journal: You will need a notebook, diary, scrapbook, or photo album with at least 15 pages or with the option to add as many pages as you need. I chose an expandable scrapbook album with a DIY cover.
You will also need colorful paper and card stock, stickers, Mod Podge or glue, and anything else you decide to use as decorations.
Ideas: To give myself some direction, I am using the prompts used on the Text My Journal website. Of course, you could choose to simply "wing it" and write what's on your mind (as long as it focuses on being grateful!).
Pointers: I began my journal using a spiral-bound notebook I purchased from the Dollar Tree. Horrible idea! The pages were too flimsy to bear all the decorations I added. However, if you simply wish to write without getting crafty, this notebook would be perfect and economical for you.
I will not be sharing the contents of my journal because I'd like to keep it personal, but here is my cover:
Until the next post . . . keep smiling!
