Today's writing exercise needs a little prompting. Are you ready?
What does B.I.H. mean? Why does this particular headstone bear that inscription? Answer both questions. Write as little or as much as you want.
B.I.H. stands for Buried in Haste. The "old scoundrel" named George Freidman spent his last days in the hospital with stomach flu symptoms that induced erratic behavior. Doctors diagnosed George with the zombie virus. The only way to ensure a person with the zombie virus stays dead is to bury them within 24 hours of death. B.I.H. on tombstones identifies these victims so others are aware . . . just in case they don't stay buried!
