Three. It's the number of days left in the 2015-16 school year. I confess, I am ready for a break. There is no tired like end-of-the-school-year teacher tired. This evening, I told Sean I could go to bed at five o'clock and sleep until five in the morning, and I honestly don't believe I was exaggerating (well . . . maybe a little).
As another school year draws quickly to a close, I plan to spend the next few days reminiscing about the most enjoyable parts of the year. One of the first things that comes to mind is the Living Literature exhibit for Beta Conventional.
The students worked diligently to depict a scene from Peter Pan. It was our first year to participate; and, although we didn't place, we inferred from the judges' comments that we were definitely a contender. Helping to spearhead this project was definitely one of my most memorable moments of the year.
Until my next reflection (which will hopefully post tomorrow) . . . keep smiling!
