According to Merriam-Webster dictionary, complete means "brought to an end." What a perfect way to describe the 2015-16 school year; it is complete, brought to an end. How do I feel about it? Actually, it's bittersweet. In all honesty, this was one of the most challenging years in all my years of teaching for a variety of reasons. I would be remiss if I didn't admit I'm glad it's ended; however, I am already missing my students. At least I'll get to see the seventh graders next year when they're eighth graders.
The school year isn't the only thing that's complete. So is my procrastinating (putting off intentionally and habitually). I've developed a habit of putting off updating my blog and a nasty habit of not writing on my sequel. But, I've brought an end to that; my procrastination is complete.
So, what's coming in the near future? The return of Random Ramblings on Mondays and Friday's Five Favorites. I'm also adding Writing Prompt Wednesday where I simply share an interesting prompt I discover on the web. Of course, I'm not going to add too much to my blog because my main focus is going to be my sequel. To keep me accountable, I plan to post snippets on the 25th of every month.
Well, that's all for today. Check back Wednesday for the first writing prompt. Until then . . . keep smiling!
