For today’s topic, I withdrew from the jar and it is . . .
I am only going to list shows that I would watch without Sean (otherwise, Game of Thrones would make the cut). Here they are in no particular order.
Twilight Zone (1959-64)
I usually watch this otherworldly show during an Independence Day or New Year’s Day marathon. This year, the Independence Day marathon is ongoing. I can’t choose one favorite episode, but click here for a list of a few of them.
Little House on the Prairie (1974-83)
I loved the show before I could read. Once I could read the books, I preferred them to the show. It’s still one of my favorite shows, though.
The Incredible Hulk (1978-82)
I watched this show as a child, but Dr. David Banner’s transformation into the Hulk terrified me. That didn’t stop me for loving him; as a four-year-old, I wanted to marry him. I’ve definitely changed my mind about that, but the Hulk is still my favorite Marvel character.
I love this show! Andy Griffith was awesome, and this is the best legal drama EVER!
Full House (1987-95)
I loved this show as a child. As an adult, I think it’s a tad cheesy, but I’m nostalgically including it on my list. Unlike most girls, I did not have a crush on Uncle Jesse. I preferred Uncle Joey.
Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman (1993-98)
A western with a strong female lead? Two of my favorite things; you bet I love this show! I have so many favorite episodes, they deserve their own post. Check back soon for a posting of my top twelve favorite episodes.
One season?! Come on! This show deserved at least five or six seasons. Sci-fi doesn’t get any better than this.
I watched this show faithfully, and I absolutely despise how it ended. Who was Jacob? What was the smoke monster? What and where exactly was the island? Why were there polar bears in Season 1? What happened to Walt? Balderdash! Too. Many. Unanswered. Questions!
Downton Abbey (2010-)
I love period dramas, and this show is AMAZING! I think I’m more downstairs than upstairs, though.
Once Upon a Time (2011-)
I love fairy tales retellings, and that’s what this show is: a fairy tale mash-up. I can’t wait for the new season to premiere!
Are any of your favorites on my list? Let me know in the comments!
Until the next post . . . keep smiling!
