Happy New Year! I managed to stay awake and greet the New Year, but fell asleep shortly thereafter. I wanted to sleep in, but to quote Princess Anna from Frozen, “The sky’s awake, so I’m awake!” Yes, I awoke with the sun. No sleeping in for me!
2015 will bring changes to Rachel’s Ramblings. On the Home Page, you will see a monthly schedule of events. Here is a explanation of those events:
These are typical blog posts. I may follow a theme throughout a month or I may write about whatever happens to be on my mind. I plan to update every Monday.
On alternating Thursdays, I will write a “throwback” post. Some will be memories; others will be written work from the past like short stories, poems, essays, and such.
On alternating Fridays, I plan to post recipes on my blog. Some will be my own while others will be recipes from other sources that I frequently use.
On the tenth of every month, I will feature an interview with an author. As participation among my author friends increases, I may include interviews on the twentieth as well. All interviews will be posted on a special page. Look for the page in the menu bar at the top of the Home Page.
Guest Blog Posts
The fifteenth of every month will be reserved for guest blog posts. Look for a variety of posts from diverse sources. As with the author interviews, I will schedule more guest blog posts as participation increases.
If I do not schedule more than one author interview a month, look for book reviews on the twentieth.
Since Elise’s Choice was released on the 25th of August, I will reserve the 25th of each month as the day to share snippets of my second book, which is still a work in progress.
This is the plan for my website in 2015. However, the best laid plans of mice and men sometimes go awry, so I reserve the right to change things if need be. Now, I’m off to enjoy this beautiful, partly cloudy, first day of the year. If it would only snow . . .
